What to expect from this course:
You will be introduced to the land acquisition and development process and review the first five steps of this eight-step process: finding land, market analysis, tying up land/preliminary investigation, concept plans and due diligence.
As a building professional who is new to the land development business, you will develop strategies for finding land development opportunities for small building projects (2 – 50 lots) by examining real-world examples. And you will have the opportunity to review key business structures and financing options for running a small volume land development business.
